As part of its unwavering commitment to corporate social responsibility, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) distributed trauma bags to various municipalities across the 6th, 7th, and 8th districts of Cavite on April 3, 2025.
This initiative by the agency aims to strengthen emergency preparedness and enhance medical response capabilities within local communities.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles led the turnover ceremony of trauma bags to key local leaders, including Mayor Rodel Dionisio (Amadeo), Mayor Danilo Bencito (General Emilio Aguinaldo), Mayor Perfecto Fidel (Indang), Mayor Junio Dualan (Naic), Mayor Lawrence Arca (Maragondon), Mayor Jasmin Maligaya-Bautista (Magallanes), Mayor Eric Vida (Mendez), Vice Mayor Raygan Dimapilis (Mendez), Mayor Omil Poblete (Silang), Mayor Yuri Pacumio (Tanza), and Mayor Lamberto Bambao (Ternate).
Each trauma bag contains essential medical tools and life-saving devices, including a hand suction pump, resuscitation bag, CPR pocket mask, first-aid kits, and other emergency materials. These critical resources are designed to provide immediate assistance during emergencies, ensuring municipalities are better prepared to respond effectively to medical crises.
PCSO remains steadfast in its mission to extend medical and financial assistance to Filipinos in need, reinforcing its advocacy for accessible and inclusive healthcare support across the country.
Through such an initiative, PCSO continues to bridge gaps in medical accessibility and highlight the importance of proactive healthcare measures, ultimately strengthening the resilience of local communities.
