On March 28, 2025, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), represented by Assistant General Manager for Charity Sector Arnel N. Casas, donated 20 wheelchairs to the Cerebral Palsied Association of the Philippines, Inc. (CPAP) during a turnover ceremony at the PCSO Conservatory Building, Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City.
Eunice Marie G. Factor, President of CPAP, gratefully received the donation and expressed her heartfelt thanks to the PCSO. She highlighted the challenges faced by Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in accessing essential mobility aids and praised the PCSO’s initiative in addressing this need. These wheelchairs will significantly improve the quality of life for the PWDs under CPAP’s care.
The donation falls under the PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, which aims to assist underprivileged Filipinos, including those with illnesses and disabilities. This program reflects the PCSO’s dedication to fulfilling its mandate of providing aid to those most in need.
