The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) spearheaded a turnover ceremony of 100 ChariTimba filled with food supplies to Barangay San Vicente, Paombong, Bulacan on April 14, 2025.
The event was led by Assistant General Manager for Charity Sector Arnel Casas at the PCSO’s Conservatory Building in Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City.
Barangay Councilor Grace Salamat received the food packs from the PCSO with gratitude, saying, “Laking tulong po nito sa aming barangay lalo na dun sa mga nasalanta ng bagyong Kristine na nagsisimula pa lang bumangon. Maraming salamat po PCSO.”
The ChariTimba donation is part of the agency’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, which aims to highlight PCSO’s dedication to fostering inclusivity by reaching out to those in need.
The donation of food aid not only addresses immediate needs but also reflects the agency’s commitment to empowering communities and fostering a sense of shared responsibility.
