Residents of Sitio Arenda, Barangay Sta. Ana in Taytay, Rizal gathered to avail themselves of free medical and dental services extended by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) during an outreach initiative on April 23, 2025.
Spearheaded by Dr. Rouel Aparato of the PCSO Medical Services Department, this activity underscored the agency’s commitment to delivering essential healthcare services to underserved communities.
A total of 138 individuals benefited from the program, with 113 receiving medical consultations and 25 undergoing dental evaluations, including tooth extractions. To facilitate their recovery, all patients were provided with free medications.
This medical and dental mission forms part of PCSO’s flagship healthcare programs, in accordance with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s directive to prioritize public health.
The initiative also reflects the government’s broader vision of fostering a healthier and more progressive nation under the “Bagong Pilipinas” campaign.
